District Magistrate Reiley is the talk of the Purple Page. His sentence has been viewed as both fair and also not hard enough for a public servant or Magistrate.
Otherwise, the big topic is gas prices. Hurricane Ike has come and gone and people are wondering why gas prices continue to rise. I guess we will have to hope Jack Rich has a warmn heart as Christmas will soon be here.

I think its bull how they are treating Reiley. You bloggers and the police and the media. People get away with murder, rape, fraud and corruption in this town but don't dare let a good honest man make a mistake. Trust me, more was made out of this mishap. I hope there is karma. And it goes around.
Ah yeah! What are you talking about. He made a mistake. He paid the price and that is it. It's not the end of the world.
A crime is a crime though. It is ironic for someone who is to uphold the laws to be breaking them.
